Bucket.ca is an innovative travel platform designed to bring personalized bucket list adventures to life. Our mission is to help users discover, plan, and book unforgettable trips through a visually engaging experience that blends social inspiration with exclusive travel opportunities.

At its core, Bucket.ca is both a visual discovery platform and a luxury travel marketplace. Like Pinterest, users can create and share pins and boards to build their ultimate travel vision. Behind the scenes, we collect zero-party data from our community of dreamers to craft curated itineraries with travel experts and online travel agencies (OTAs).

Exclusive Private Aircraft Experiences

One of the platform's standout features is the ability to book private aircraft travel. Users can browse and book luxurious, private flights from local airports, enjoying elevated convenience and comfort. Whether for business or leisure, our platform connects travelers with exclusive travel options that go far beyond traditional booking experiences.

Key Features and Solutions

Visual Discovery Interface: Inspired by Pinterest's format, users can visually browse, pin, and organize travel inspirations and bucket list goals. This drives user engagement and helps collect meaningful intent data.

Curated Trip Booking: Powered by zero-party data and OTA partnerships, the system suggests high-end, personalized travel packages tailored to each user's interests and past behaviors.

Private Aircraft Integration: We built out a system to allow seamless browsing and booking of private flights, including detailed trip breakdowns such as amenities, flight time, destination highlights, and pricing.

Secure Booking and Payments: I led the integration of secure payment gateways to facilitate smooth, reliable bookings. All payment flows are encrypted and optimized for mobile and desktop users.

Trip Management and Notifications: Users receive real-time updates on their trips through itinerary views and push/email notifications for changes, confirmations, and reminders.

As the technical lead, I spearheaded the end-to-end development of the Bucket.ca platform. I collaborated closely with design and product teams to translate business objectives into performant, scalable solutions.
